2010 Conference June 17–20 Portland, Oregon
Theme: Many Shades of Green

Registration

Note: Online registration is now closed. You may pay for a full or one-day registration at the conference table in Stamm Hall, Templeton Campus Center, on Lewis & Clark campus.

We have worked hard to make participation in the AESS 2010 conference affordable, including student and day rates and a low-cost dorm accommodation option.  Registration includes a gift packet, admission to plenary meals, receptions, and events, and participation in academic sessions.

Click here to register now for the 2010 AESS Conference in Portland, Oregon June 17-20.  Make sure you know your accommodation, field trip, and workshop preferences prior to registering!

Note that once you register you cannot change your choices online: we'll have to first delete your registration, then you can register again for your updated choices, or if you have already paid please contact Phil Camill, AESS Program Committee chair. Note that you may register without paying at the same time (a red Payment Due link will appear in the upper left of the aess.info page after you login as a reminder).

If you have already registered and simply need to add on-campus meals, please complete the 2010 conference meals form (deadline Tue June 8).

Registration fees for the conference are as follows:
  • $225: Full conference, regular professional (by Friday May 14; no refunds after Fri May 28)
  • $300: Full conference, late professional (after May 14)
  • $150: One-day participation, professional (register onsite)
  • $100: Full conference, current or just-graduated student (undergraduate or graduate; meal/dorm reservations required by May 28)
  • $125: Guests of professional or student registrants (2 maximum)
During registration, you will also pay for:
  • Pre-conference field trips, with fees ranging from $10 to $50 (participation limited)
  • On-campus meals (plenary events already covered by conference registration); see the Accommodations and Food page for details
  • Pre-conference workshops are free to registered participants, but participation is limited so you will reserve a space during registration as well
  • The on-campus dorm reservation deadline of May 28 has now passed; you can still stay in our Portland hotels by reserving a hotel room separately
Important note: Current membership in AESS (only $30 for professionals or $15 for students) is strongly recommended, as an equivalent surcharge plus processing fee are required of nonmembers who register (excluding guests).  We urge nonmembers to first visit the membership page to join, then register for the conference to enjoy full membership benefits for a year and to waive the processing fee.

If any questions on conference registration, please contact Phil Camill, AESS Program Committee chair.
